I did it! First 50lbs lost!

Im almost there 40 more to go....starting out needing to lose 90lbs seemed like a losing effort. But its not! Time has gone sooo fast since October. I have a doctors appointment monday and Im so excited! The last time he seen me in December I was 206. Ive lost another 36lbs since then! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

    terrific. i know how amazingly proud and wonderful you feel.

    i went to my doctor last week. it was sooo fun. the longer he sat talking to me the bigger his grin got. he is really, really pleased with me. in fact, he said that right now i am his star patient. he added that in 20 years of practice, he can count on two hands the number of people who have made the commitment and really lost the weight. (if it was easy none of us would be struggling to do it!)

    So, have a great visit with the doctor. You deserve alot of praise -katie

    Congratulations! I'm less than 2 pounds from being at my '50 pounds lost' mark too. It's really amazaing when you think of it.. 50 pounds is a lot of weight to lose!!! You should be very proud!!:bigsmile:

    how awesome! i got chills actually, aha. it's so great to lose that much weight, and then to celebrate it, and for people to recognize it. you can totally lose that last 40. and i can't believe how quickly you have lost that 50 lbs! wow.. how did you do it so quick?!

    congrats again and good luck with the second part of your journey!! can't wait to be where you are!
