Lactic Acid

I need a solution, it's hampering my training!

    Massage. Foam rolling. Light exercise (if it's in your legs, go walk/jog, do light squats, etc.

    Stretching after your workout helps alot...

    Also, if you're getting lactic acid from cardio...make sure you're taking advantage of the cooldown/stretch period.

    Lots and lots of water helps too - lactic acid is messing with me now too. Hate it!

    It sounds like you are referring to muscle soreness (?) which, as someone already said, has nothing to do with lactic acid. If you are experiencing that much muscle soreness, I would suspect that your program needs some restructuring because it sounds like it is out of balance.

    If we're talking muscle soreness, ^^^^ then as Azdak said, you need to look at your programming and recovery methods.

    Contrast showers, foam rolling, etc should help with soreness.



    If lactic acid is building up during high rep training, you just need to carry on, you eventually build some tolerance to it.
