Phase 2 questions

This is a "starch blocker". Any idea does it work? Also what is a brand name of Phase 2. I am a bit skeptical about it. Thanks

  I asked my doctor about these "blockers" and he said they set your system up so you can't process it... it just passes through, and sometimes uncontrollably....
