Cameron Diaz Esquire pics rant
I and i'm sure many others are sick to death of seeing stunning women photoshopped. It sickens me to know that is what some women and men think is perfection. It makes me feel sad looking at pics like these.
All "celebs" look the same in magazines. What's wrong with a few wrinkles? A couple of imperfections? NOTHING. Cause that is what is real.

Then don't look at the pics?0

you want it to be HARDER for graphics designers to find work?0

She looked better without those two baseballs stuffed in her chest. The pressures of aging in Hollywood.0

I love photoshop! just sayin........0

LMFAO this.
I don't like fakeness (not a real word I know) as much as the next person, but whatcha gonna do?0 -

quoted for troof.0 -
Lol...we all know she's not that "endowed" up there. Looks like she's using her hands to push up the girls. She looks good! I can appreciate good looking women...doesn't mean I want to look just like them.0

As someone who works with Photoshop frequently, I can tell you honestly that there wasn't much photo editing done to those pics. Lighting sure, but they didn't cut her body up or change angles. She is genuinely a fit, good looking woman. Her boobs look like that because she's got them shoved into a corset. Simple as that.0

I actually saw a photoshopped image of her where they had to make her look a little heavier and less cut. Here's the link: http://thesocietypages.org/socimages/2012/06/12/too-fat-too-skinny/ The world is a horrible place. No one is ever happy.0

Wow what's with the makeup? She looks like a clown.0

Must be a slow news day when complaining about a celeb is your biggest concern.0
-
Geez, we better take away clothes that are slimming, makeup and hair dye. Everyone should just look like themselves. Hell let's not even comb our hair any more. OK, I must confess my hair is going away on it's own so I might be biased on that one. I don't buy the magazine, so I just could care less. A picture is a picture. They manipulate the lights a lot too.0

I saw her in a recent movie and unless they photoshopped the whole movie - she looked smokin' the WHOLE time. I'd kill for her arms!!
I saw a local 'celebrity' at my gym today and they must photoshop the hell out of her as she looks nothing like she does when she appears in papers.0 -
hypocrite. you dont complain when restaurants do it to food. Its an art genre. not all photography has to be raw gritty truth. Sometimes it just wants to be beautiful. Stop deciding there can only be one kind of art.
If the only kind of literature allowed was non-fiction and reference, I'd pitch a fit about that too.0 -

Now i can go either way so dont see this as homophobic
When i was about 16 i had a theory that anoxeria is caused by gay men being in charge of the fashion industry.I dont think men notice wrinkles and the like if they like a woman. But fashion is set up to make the girls look as much like soft skin prepubecent boys as possible.0 -
Not to totally poke the beehive of conspiracy.. but I feel like the whole world's perception of beauty has changed due to photoshop. Very few people can ever match the standards of perfection.. because bodies rarely naturally look the way they do in magazines. But I suppose that's what plastic surgery is for? :indifferent:0

I take that back...I just see red X's.
Rule #1 intact.0 -
Damn Cameron, you fine!0

lol Now, now, let's not get our panties in a twist.
I can totally appreciate photoshopped work as art. But I definitely feel like some of the photoshop work in the media (for celebrities in particular) is not meant to be creative, but to cause the viewer to change their expectations of realistic beauty.0 -
Photoshopped or not, art or not, Diaz looks effing awesome.0

There is nothing wrong with it unless you are a celeb and a large part of your carrer is based off your immage.0 -
She looks amazing, nothing to be angry about. Go on with your life. :flowerforyou:0

I agree with you. Magazine covers are not considered art to the general public.0 -
