it actually angers me.
these gross moms pushing their kids, trying to live vicariously through them.
and yet...i cant stop watching. i love to hate.
people be nuts!0 -
I find it creepy...but that's my opinion. I don't like makeup on little kids. I think they are way too young and it kinda makes them feel like they aren't pretty without it. But, I have no experience in that area so I'm sure lots of mom's out there do that sort of thing. I think it's perfectly fine to let kids dress up because that's fun BUT the makeup stuff...that's growing up way too fast.0

I've never understood the mentality behind any of it. I see these girls and all I think is they look like prosti-tots.0

I cannot even watch it, it just disgusts me.
I love my children so much, and to be honest I don't care if my daughter is wearing my little pony shirts until she is 16. I want her to be a little girl as long as possible.
I do not need her dressing like a common streetwalker and tammy faye bakers love child.0 -
So you gots a problem with little ol Hunny Boo Boo?0

Why this didn't die when the world found the whole JonBenet Ramsey thing so creepy is beyond me.

Yep.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of people who love that *kitten*, or else it wouldn't get airtime. Mindless sheeple. :noway:0 -

It is creepy from an adult perspective, but honestly, as a little girl, I would have loved it. Frilly dresses, getting my hair did, putting on makeup like mommy. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't stop there. The moms are competitive and spend WAY too much money, which takes the fun out of it and isn't a great example to their kids. And once they're out of preschool, the kids seem to be little perfectionists, and combine that with the whole "judged on beauty" thing, and it seems like a formula for self esteem issues down the road.0

Agreed. I don't know what the facination with this show it.....then again, I've never seen it. I've never watched Toddlers in Tiaras either and I don't know why anyone would! I have 2 daughters and they will dress like little girls for a long time!0 -

THANK YOU!!! And you can't understand HALF the stuff they say! The ONLY thing I can admire them for is that they put family first... but that's not enough for me to watch the show or think that putting their child on display is worthwhile... it's sick... PEDO BEARS BE WATCHING!0 -
Hahaha...this is awesome.0 -
I consider it paramount to child abuse and sexual exploitation of a minor. The parents should be prosecuted. Period.0

What ever happened to church sponsored talent shows and singing into hairbrushes in front of the mirror? It's honestly like kids aren't even allowed to enjoy the benefits of childhood anymore. Between overbearing parents that want to live out their dreams through their children and technology constantly exposing children to dangerous people & situations... no wonder why kids are so screwed up!! My mom had to fight me to get me into a dress for Easter pictures never mind actually wear it in front of people and she wouldn't have been able to force a cell phone on me as a teenager, that would have just made it easier for her to keep tabs on me. :laugh:0

Why do people think it's so "cute" to have little girls wear "sexy" outfits is beyond me....
Dumb f%cking broads0 -
My daughter went over to a friend's house and came home with eye shadow, lipstick and blush on. I about had a heart attack. I don't even wear makeup except for very special occasions!!!! I made her take it off. "But so and so is allowed to wear it!" "That's nice. You aren't." She's 7. She can paint her nails. That is IT!0

Yeah It is just DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never allow my child to be dressed this way... My mom said I was in pagents but not the "adult" kind... it was just CUTE BABIES and TODDLERS!!!! NO MAKE UP!!!! Big ruffled dresses and FLAT SHOES!!!!!!! normal hair not a ton of hairspray.... I guess the parents these days have no boundries.... its sad......0

true...... creepy, tacky, crazy and stupid
thats why the show ´toddlers and tiaras´ should be banned.0 -

Agreed. Dressing your daughter in something that shows off goodies she doesn't even have yet is like putting a target on her back, with a sign that says "Pedophiles welcome". Tankinis are my limit for my future daughters.0 -

i hate it. why are people dressing there 5-7+ year olds like 20 year olds?
hello your ruining your childs skin complection at that age!
and it's portraying the wrong image.
and i HATE when the kids are half dressed!
you wouldnt let your 16 year old walk out the house dressed like that if she was going on a date would you?
you can be in a pagent and not do all those things.0 -
I think when I was a kid you could... maybe it was like a local pagent... IDK... I know my momma would NEVER dress me like that lol... I wasn't allowed to wear makeup til i was like 16 or 17... (well that she knew of lol)0
