it has a lot of sodium and butter but every once in a while if you dont eat it all in one sitting (lol) ENJOY!

Why butter? Is that just for the tuna helper? We never use butter in ours. We have HH at least once a week. I usually add fresh veggies or kidney beans, depending on what variety it is. Pay attention to the add ins on the back of the package, they can be really helpful and healthy!

I made the Otsu from Heidi Swanson's food blog 101 Cookbooks, and substituted sugar snap peas for the tofu as we had teriyaki chicken with it as well. Delish.

I'm just totally amazed by how most of you go all out and eat such variety. I'm lucky to pull together some green beans, potato and a piece of meat. All of these things sound delicious.

Chickpea Burgers with Cucumber Raita and Green Salad and some raspberries for dessert. YUM YUM YUM !

I got this lovely recipe from a current Irish TV programme that is following four overweight people, who are put on an 8 week diet & fitness plan to lose weight. It has over 10,000 followers on facebook.

The food plans are devised by Dr Eva Orsmond, she specialises in obesity and she sure knows her stufff. Her menus are all tasty!

I made a wrap similar to the egg wraps that they serve at Starbucks.

1 whole grain flatbread, spread w/ Laughing Cow Light cheese wedge + slice 2% cheddar
    3 oz spinach & 3 oz mushrooms cooked w/ 1/4 c. eggbeaters & 2 oz black forest ham

Roll up the egg mixture on flatbread and enjoy!!

I like this thread, fun to get some ideas from what everyone else is having.

    I made super-simple "Greek" Chicken.

Threw some frozen chicken boobs in a glass pan with canned tomatoes, feta cheese and garlic. I usually add olives but this is Eat-Up-The-Fridge-Freezer-and-Pantry week so we'll see what kind of interesting concoctions I come up with as the week goes on.

so tonight will be 1 1/2 small thin piece of pork chop (baked) on a bed of 50/50 greens (spinach, etc), grape tomatoes with a little dash of kraft part skim milk cheese, and 3/4 cups of peaches and cream corn....this is a new meal for us, so i am hoping it all comes together LOL

everynight i find myself putting together something new and hubby says the same thing: "I wish we would of started dieting a long time ago" LOL

    WHAT IS PURPLE CHICKEN? :noway:

purple chicken is a recipe my grandmother made up over 40 years ago. it used to be a huge family secret, but someone must have given out the recipe because i have seen it in mags and online recently. it is canned cranberries, catalina island dressing and onion soup mix over chicken breast (i know that it sounds gross, but it is delish). it turns the chicken purple. it tastes so good with brisket too!
