I'm about to go and do a major shopping trip (as in, we were away for a small vacation, haven't shopped for a while, and I need to basically restock the whole kitchen lol).
I need some snack ideas. I'm eating lower carb (but I do fit some in so would be willing to buy a few carby type snacks). I'm eating healthier, but my fiance basically eats whatever he wants, so ideas that we could both enjoy would be great. I feel like I always stock up on the staples and food to cook with, but when I'm hungry for a snack, or when my fiance gets home from work late and he's hungry, we both walk around the kitchen saying, "There's nothing to eat," even when we've just gone grocery shopping.
My usuals that I'm getting bored with: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, popcorn, turkey breast/lunch meat, raw almonds. I'm not a very big fan of the "100 calorie pack" snacks, either.
So. What are your easy to grab and eat, but still healthy (and maybe lower carb) snack ideas?

For me it's:
peanuts
cheese
carrot sticks
celery with peanut butter
any piece of fruit (whatever is in season or on sale)0 -
I usually have a protein shake with almond milk and blue berries. I use a plant based proten from Life's Basics that is delicious. I also like Jamie Eason's Pumpkin Protein Bars (google the recipe). Lately I've been buying the packaged protein bars just to have something in my purse. Apples and pistashios are usually something I eat regularly too.0
