I want to lose, but not everywhere.

I've already lost 5 pounds, but the only place I'm seeing the loss is in my waist (which is not my main problem area) and my breasts.
I would like to target the junk in my trunk, and my thunder thighs.
Any tips?

Bad news, you can't control where you lose the weight.
It goes from where it goes. I find that weight training and yoga have redistributed my shape, though. I have gotten slightly broader in the shoulders and the lats, which makes my waist and lower body look more proportioned.

weight training has sculpted me as well. Why don't you lift weights? As you get older, you lose muscle mass. Or try jogging - that is a good leg and butt workout0

Agreed unfortunately you don't get to pick where you lose from. Don't know if you are but I would just add in some work outs, even just walking would help your butt/thigh area. Also, squats, lunges, jogging...0

On the up side - junk in your trunk is a good thing You naturally have a lower risk of cardiovasular insults
Cardio exercises that burn a lot of calories will help you slim down, but those are the areas that it will be harder to loose from since on you it is the first place where you put weight on. Strength training exercises are fabulous, but they are geared more torwards long term weightloss and weight maintenence. I have the same body type as you. When I was an itty bitty size 2, I still had trouble finding jeans to fit because for a size 2 waist my legs and butt was a little larger than average (looked fab in a bikini, though).0 -
I lost in my breast first - which I SO needed, but I would like to lose it at the belly and waist and leave my butt and thighs alone... yeah, no such luck. It is what it is... I definitely need to work out to keep some butt here! Good luck!0

Unfortunately, genetics plays a role in where we will store and lose fat. I wish I could get more junk in my trunk, but will always have a little belly pouch. I agree though, weight training helps a lot to tone and sculpt different areas of the body. You can look up exercises to target tone to tighten up your backside, for instance. Yoga and Pilates are also great advice. Always keep up the aerobic exercise too. The other thing I have learned over time is how to dress my body to emphasize or de-emphasize different parts. It makes a difference too! Keep up the good work!0

A little junk in the trunk is nice, but I want it to be firm. And sexy.0
