i eat things like Freybe's orginal pepperoni sticks (0g carbs), protein powder (whey isolate), I'm carb cycling right now so I'm major picky about my carbs. soy cheese, beef, bacon, basically any non-processed meat, keep your eyes on vegetables, some are better then others...same with fruit. I try and keep my total carbs for 1 item under 7g of carbs, anything over that is to much and I'll blow over for the day. Feel free to friend me if you want to take a look at my diary :) caution, i'm just starting my carb cycling, which means I'm just learning lol

Eat more meat (protein). Zero carbs.

If you're not adverse to dairy -- cheese! Higher in calories, low carb. Chicken is a good source of calories & also low carb.

Get your carbs from produce only, no rice, potatoes, pasta or anything wheat based. Even if just for 30 days.

Calorie UP with protein, like the others said. You won't be flat lined in your progress any longer =)

Then, if you wish, you can add them back in, in moderation, keeping an eye on how it is influencing your weight loss.

    Best of luck!

Eggs and butter more, bread pasta andsuch less.

Say you have a bacon roll for breakfast. Swap the bread for a few fried eggs or scramble with some cheese.
If you have a salad throw in a few whole builed eggs. Crack an egg on your pizza its amazing.

Or just fry all your goodies in butter or olive oil. Its all good fats.
  • im sure it depends what sort of carbs you are eating. Dont forget all that fruit and veg you are putting in adds on the carbs! I couldnt believe how many carbs were in a kiwi fruit!!!!

If you're calories are too low and carbs are at the limit, even a little over, it just sounds like you need to eat more protein and fats.

thanks everyone...i guess now that i go through and look at it...im not really much of a meat eater....gonna try adding more meats in diet....can someone be a vegatarian and not know it???lol its just difficult since i have be "single" (working on divorced) for the last year, it is difficult making meals for one...i usually make something in the crockpot and eat off it all week...:/
  • If you're not averse to eating meat then make a whole chicken or pot of turkey chili and eat that all week with a side salad topped with cheese, olive oil, beans, and nuts
