I just started with MFP today. I'm 5'4, 230 pounds, 15 years old. I have been trying to lose weight for years. I seem to never be able to stick with an exercise and eating plan. I'm sick of being overweight. I left the school I used to go to because I was constantly being made fun of. It's time for me to get healthy, so I don't have to live like this my whole life. Any advice?

Small steps. In terms of food, make small changes and pay close attention to portion sizes. Keep busy in order to avoid the "I am bored so let's eat" times. For exercise - mix it up. I find when I do the same thing for a long time I tend to slack off.
Also find friends, in the real world or here, that can help you when it seems too hard. Feel free to add me if you are looking for support.0
