Don't complain about the lack of results if you haven't done the work!0

Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect, and I don't live to be. But before you start pointing fingers...make sure your hands are clean.0

My favorite comes from my niece when she broke her nose. I think she was in her late teens, early 20s. She was coming out of anesthesia after having it set, and someone in recovery across the hall was crying, screaming and wailing. My niece sat upright in bed and yelled, 'Oh, just suck it up already!'
So that's my motto. Quit your whining and suck it up.0 -

obsessed is what the lazy use to call the dedicated
I love this one!!!! Someone ages ago called me obsessed because I talked about exercise and weight, so i stopped talking about it and then stopped exercising and dieting! I then got to thinking.....hang on, i talk about it because it's my motivator, hence why i joined this site. What a great saying, thanks!!!0 -
Not an actual quote, but my friend is very motivating to me...
Congratulating me and stuff when I reach my small goals of losing weight, I think for me that is better than any inspirational quote that can be found anywhere
Plus people asking if I have lost weight.. cue big massive grin!

I know they both talk about God but what can I say sometimes that motivates me.
"The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you"
Refuse to fall down, if you can't refuse to fall down, refuse to stay down, if you can't refuse to stay down, lift your heart to heaven, ask that it be filled and it will be filled. You may be pushed down, you may be kept from rising, but no one can keep you from lifting your heart to heaven. It is in the middle of misery that so much becomes clear. The one who says nothing good came of this is not yet listening. --Clarissa Pinkola Estes PhD0 -
Oh yea!
"We're American! We don't plan...WE DO!!!" --Colonel Custer (Night at the Museum 2)
ETA: I don't mean anyone to take offense in this...it is in a movie....but the underlying statement gets me!! Don't "plan" your workout...just do your workout!!0 -
I am not there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday0
