Moving to the next step.. no longer logging...

Today I start on a new journey.. NOT measuring out all my food, logging everything I eat, or counting all my calories/macronutrients, etc. I am now 11 months binge-free, and after years of being obese, going to therapy, having an up and down (mostly up!) journey, I am ready to take the next step in my wellness journey, which is freedom from obsessing over what I am eating.
I know how to eat healthy, I know how to listen to my body, so I need to start putting those skills into action. I still plan on using the "notes" section as a general guideline when needed, just as a reminder of "what" I have ate throughout the day.
I have been scale-free for about 4 months now, I plan on keeping that thing in permanent retirement. I will use how my body looks and how my clothes fit as my guide. If I start to look better and my clothes fit better, I know that what I am doing is working.. if the opposite happens, I know to eat a little less and increase my activity.
Wish me luck This site has been an amazing help for me, but I think everyone's eventual goal is to not have to rely on it anymore.

I totall agree with what you are doing. It should be everyone's goal to not have to be dependent on these things and to have learned from them. Good luck!!0
