I'm doing good at daily calories, exercise, and logging, but only getting in 4-5 glasses of water daily. Any suggestions on how you meet your daily water goal? Thanks Much!!!

It may sound crazy, but I drink mine in a cup with a straw. I drink more that way. On ice and in an insulated cup.0

On the hour, every hour, when at work. That works best for me.0

This is exactly what I do. It's crazy because the straw should not matter, but if I don't have my sippy cup, I don't get enough water.
Also, if I really want do drink something that isn't water (i.e. glass of wine, etc) I drink a glass of water first, and if I still want the other drink afterwards then I have it.0 -
I bought a 16oz water bottle and try to drink one whole container before lunch and after while I'm at work. I fill it up again for after work and try to drink the whole thing periodically while I'm working out. I drink small cups of water before meals as well (6-8oz). This helps with appetite and gives me my daily quota. I find just having it around me reminds me to drink it, which is why I would definitely recommend buying a water bottle and just carrying it with you.0

i never drink over 4 glasses a day, but my body never seemed to need 8 glasses, even when i exercise. My urine is clear still so i think i just get most of my water intake from my food. especially salads!0

I love water, so I don't have a problem getting enough, but one thing I do that might help you is I chug a whole large glass of water right before I go to bed and right after I wake up.0

I just keep a cup full of water near me at all times. I'm a habitual drinker (drink constantly if my hands aren't occupied) so having the water near me at all times means I get about 12-16 glasses in a day.0

I drink a 33.8 ounce when I wake up with my med, then another 33.8 after treadmill, and another 33.8 ounce after dancing and so on......so atleast by the late afternoon I got all my water in needed. I just guzzle the bottle down in one shot and don't have to worry...0

I keep a 1.5l bottle of water on my desk and try to finish at least two of them while I'm in the office. Then, when I'm home, I try to finish another 1.5l bottle. I find it easy to drink more when I'm able to see how much I'm drinking like that.0

I'm probably weird but I chug down 20 oz at a time starting first thing in the morning then all day long. Once you get used to it you sort of crave it, and I like it at room temperature not cold. It just makes me feel good. It wards off headaches and just feels good. If I don't feel like plain water I occasionally use 5 calorie flavor packets like lemonade, pink lemonade, or MIO.0 -
Drink..then drink some more.. I typically drink between 15 to 19 glasses a day.. try to get more in with my
meals! Happy drinking!0 -
I make iced tea decaf with stevia at work I use 2 tea bags stewed in hot water, when that cools down I buy/or get from fountain cold water. Makes it more interesting. also I change it up with just lemons0

I try to stick to a schedule. I drink a bottle of water on my way to work and one on the way home. Then, all I have to do is squeeze in 2 during the work day. Seems to make it a little more manageable for me to do it that way.0

I have a 33 oz Camelbak water bottle I fill up. I drink it all before I can have coffee. I usually finish it on my bus ride into work. Then I drink a second one after my coffee. I usually get in 10-14 glasses of water a day. I pee a lot some days.0

I add a little bit if lemon or lime juice to give it done flavor without tasting to sweet. I then make it a game. 1 glass per hour. My strategy: "Can I beat the clock"?0

I start my morning w/a 16oz glass. From there, the water cravings take over and I have another 16 oz before lunch, one w/lunch w/a flavor packet and at least one more 16oz glass before 4...I usually have another 2-3 glasses at home in the evening. If i miss that glass to start my day, I find I don't get enough water in. For some reason, it makes me want water the rest of the day.
I allow myself tea or diet coke w/my dinner and I have a couple cups of coffee in the morning also. I spend a lot of time in the bathroom, but I'm hydrated!!0 -
I have a big bottle (holds 3 cups), I fill that up and usually can drink it before 10-12.
I fill it up again at school during lunch and that will usually last till I get home and then I fill again
and by the time I go to bed I had at least 9 cups of water sometimes 12
I think the bigger the bottle the more it forces me to drink water. I have tried it with water bottles (2 cups) and it just wasn't the same.
It works for me and I use to never get my 8 cups of water in.
Good luck!0 -
I have a 22 oz water bottle. The first thing I do each morning is drink all 22 oz. After that I time it out. I have to drink another 22 oz by noon (which is usually easy because I take my bottle to the gym with me), another 22 oz by 4pm, and the last 22 oz between 4 pm and bedtime. I couldn't do it without my water bottle. If I forget to take it with me to the gym or work it messes up my intake for the day.
If drinking water is just too blah for you (it is for my husband) He puts puts a 1/4 of a cup of juice in a glass then fills the rest of the glass with water.0 -

I found 33oz water bottles with straws in Wal Mart for $4. I keep it with me all day. Especially sitting at my desk at work I drink 2-3 of those a day. Not including what I drink when I get home. I also leave one at work now because if I forget the bottle I tend not to drink as much. It takes a little while to get used to but you'll get used to it.0 -
The eight 8-ounce glass of water thing is a myth. Drink when you're not thirsty and include plenty of fruits and veggies in your diet. You'll get enough water.

I always have a 32oz (1 L) Nalgene bottle with me. At work, at home, carry it with me.
It's way easier to get in your water when it's always within reach.0 -
I use MiO and club soda a lot to get my own water down. I've found if I add a bit of the tangerine orange MiO to club soda it tastes like orange soda.
I don't use Crystal Light a lot but I also have cold brew tea sitting on my desk at work for when I want something with flavor (Twinings Green tea & mint is yummy).0
