Protein Packed Low Calorie Cheesecake in a Bowl

Cheesecake in a bowl recipe.. delish. Great way to sneak in cottage cheese for those of you who don't like to eat it! Low calorie, high in protein, and tastes just like cheesecake. Thank me later.

2/3 cup cottage cheese
1 tsp. maple syrup
1 packet Truvia
2 tsp dark chocolate chips

Simply whip everything together (minus the chocolate chips) in your blender and voila! Whip chocolate chips in too (after).

I've been loving something similiar lately. I'm a massive lemon cheesecake fan, so I use low fat cream cheese, greek yogurt, the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of natvia. Mix it all together and its heaven :) I add some white chocolate chips when I have the calories left over.

This treat is what I use during workouts to push myself to go harder I love it so much.

I'll definitely have to try it with cottage cheese, maybe tonight :P

You MUST try sugar free jello cheesecake pudding with Silk 30 cal/cup almond milk! SUPER low calorie for a ton of it!! I add pureed pumpkin and pumpkin spice as well and make a pumpkin cheesecake that is to DIE for!! I'm a huge cheesecake lover too!

yup and it doesn't look good for the home team LOL...i used generic brands of each item to count and got 352 calories, 46carbs, 17g protein, 420mg sodium, 15g fat. I guess it could vary if you use a different cottage cheese but I can only eat the 4% small curd. I hate anything else. guess this won't be on my to try list any time soon after all :(

I'm not sure how you figured it out, but using 2% cottage cheese, 1 t of sugar free maple syrup, 1 packet of splenda and 2 t dark chocolate chips, I came out with 139 cals, 8 g carbs, 4 g fat and 17 g protein and 412 mg sodium. Regular maple syrup would make it 153 cals. I only have Splenda at home, but I don't think Truvia has any calories, either. 4% cottage cheese would make it 186 cals. If you used tablespoons instead of teaspoons, then it would be higher.

I did accidentally use a tbsp for the maple syrup but i used truvia packet, generic pure maple syrup, and generic chocolate chips. i used 4% cottage cheese because that is what I would eat if I made it myself. I can't stand the other stuff. It's a texture thing for me, but I believe I mentioned that in my second posting :)

You did, that's why I added the cals for the 4%. :)
