Hi everyone!
I am currently on day six of 30 day shred, but I have a question for you..
Do you guys do anything beside the shred? If so, what do you do?
And I am hoping for some more good videoes to watch at home, and do at home, because for some reason, I just find it alot easier to do in the comfort of my own home.
I cannot STAND running, so that just wont happen lol.
So yes, I guess my question is basically if you guys have any other good videoes that I could do with the shred a few days a week?
Thanks

Swimming and dancing!
Yeah, I have actually considered swimming. I signed up for a gym that has a pool. I just need to get my paycheck to buy a swimsuit
I love dancing, but I dont know what kind would be effective still
Thanks ^^0 -

I know you don't like running but I'm doing the Shred right now and I'm beginning the Couch to 5k program this morning. I hate running but I'm hoping to change that! I want runners' legs. :laugh:0

I do the jillian michaels LAST CHANCE workout which is 40 minutes 6 days a week and also the 30 day shred which is 27 minutes and try to walk/jog at least a mile a day.0

The one that lasts for six minutes? Or is there another one?I do 4 Jazzercise classes and 1 fitness Bootcamp. I just do the Shred on M-W-F.
Is any of that on youtube, or is it just classes or dvd?0 -
I just started the 30 day shred today and I'm working out on my elliptical trainer after the shred. I am also planning on swimming in the near future but so far it's just been the elliptical trainer for the last 30 days and I wanted to add something to that. I love that the shred is on youtube!0

Interesting, I looked at the 30 day shred and a lot of the exercises for Stage 1 are very similar to what I am currently doing in the gym. I usually find that my muscles really ache after a workout so was advised to do stuff every alternate day. For those of you who are older and doing the 30 day shred, have you had any issues with strained muscles? I really have to be careful with my knees which is what stopped me in my tracks last year when trying to exercise. Thanks very much!0

I plan to do 30 day shred with Zumba. I am not sure if Zumba works at all but I have a VERY inactive life so anything counts in my book.0

Try Turbo Kick/Jam videos or another kickboxing cardio workout. I used to attend classes, then they got cancelled so I got the videos. You get a great workout as long as you push yourself!
I do the 30 Day Shred as a filler if I haven't put in a full 60 minute workout.0 -
The only "real" exercise that I have been doing in addition to 30ds is walking. I do the shred with intensity and Jillian is good at pushing me and making sure I don't quit before it's over. I just finished Couch to 5k before starting it, so for me, it's a very tough workout that includes both cardio and strength training, so it's enough. :smokin:0

I am 38, not sure if that counts as "older," but yes, I have knee pain, so I alternate rest days. The last thing I need is an injury to set me back several weeks!0 -

It is on youtube on Befit channel and it lasts 40 mins but they have it seperated 6 minutes a video so it will automatically load to the next video go to there page and click on jillian michael's name and you will see all of the video's there0 -
Im starting the shred and hoping to go swimming once a week and the gym twice a week aswell. Have just ordered a cross trainer so will probably do 20mins on that a day aswell as the shred.0

I walk my dogs for an hour a day as well as 30S. I have a rest day from the DVD when I feel I need it or I go for a swim just for a change.0

And walking to school and back on Wednesdays.... it only takes 20-30mins there and back :blushing:
Also trying to get back in routine of an hour morning workout 3 days a week which includes workout for couch to 5k. Plus heavy weight training (no 5lb lifter here!).
If I was not going to school and working full time would love to start going back to yoga0 -
I just finished day 7 of 30DS. I alternate either yoga (tons of free you tube videos out there) if I'm not leaving the house, or the elliptical if it's a gym day. Good luck to you!0
