The only reason I know what I am going to wear for Christmas is because I was desperately digging out my closet trying to find some smaller clothes to replace all the baggy ones I have been hiding in and I found a gorgeous black velvet dress 3 sizes smaller than what I wore last Christmas. I probably haven't worn it in 10 years. Black velvet never goes out of style does it? :)

I can't find a picture of it but I bought a really pretty sparkly gold and white dress over the weekend so I might wear that.

I'm working on christmas. It's the only reason I know what I'll be wearing. Scrubs. Will be wearing the same thing on Halloween and probably Easter too.

I have known for years.....I bought a gorgeous Mod vintage red wool minidress at Haight Ashbury on vacation with my husband almost 4 years ago, and as soon as we got home I found out I was pregnant with my second baby.

That dress has hung in my closet unworn ever since, and this year I am going to rock it! Hubby loves the 60s, and this dress is so spot on. This is going to be my year to get into that dress!!

Size 6, super short....the only thing left to do is choose between platform pumps and go-go boots!!

p.s. That baby is the gorgeous boy in my profile pic. I have to say, he has been worth it!!

I bought a button up blouse a few days ago that I'm hoping (so hard!) that I'll get into by Christmas. I'm wondering though if it's a lost cause - not because I won't lose weight, but because I'm just pretty broad-chested to begin with. I'm crossing my fingers that I can get all of those buttons up!

Probably the same pants and sweater I wear every year. Turns out my cousin does, too. We're like hobos together.

Its a girl thing, espcially if you have been working really hard to lose weight, an outfit is an worthwhile goal to shoot for. I think you are missing the point of the outfit itself. It not the outfit, as much as it is how she is going to feel in said outfit.

Looks pretty good to me! I have a bathing suit, my favorite color purple, nearby as a motivation, and I am taking it one day at the time.

    GOOD LUCK!

Probably a knitted dress and tights. I love knitted dresses.
  • Hopefully I can fit back into one of my slinky black dresses from last year and the year prior to that! And maybe, just maybe, I'll get one of those adorable red-and-white babydoll nighties and have some fun :D
