I got a recipe from a naturopath for protein pancakes, and the best thing is that it is one serve, so it's easy to make for one person! Then obviously you can just double, triple, etc for more people.

1 scoop (or 2 tablespoons) of protein powder
1 scoop (or 2 tablespoons) of almond or hazelnut meal
    1 egg
Either 1/8 cup of soy milk or water to mix to a batter.

I cook those up (usually makes three pikelet size pancakes) and serve with frozen berries and cinnamon (plus yoghurt sometimes)....yum, yum!

have you tried cottage cheese pancakes?

    1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup oatmeal (quick or old-fashioned)
4 eggs or 8 egg whites
(some recipes also call for vanilla and baking powder)

blend in blender, cook just like pancakes. one serving (1 pancake) has something like 20 - 30 g of protein. (depends on the size of your pancakes, obviously.

all natural, no weird protein powder taste.

Oo thanks for this, just great for my post walk protein snack! May try subbing some ground almonds for the oats..

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    2 egg whites
    1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
    3/4 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. cinnamon
    2 stevia packets
    1/2 t. vanilla

    Directions:
mix all ingredients in a bowl. Stir just until they are mixed well. do not overstir.

Pour 1/3 of the batter into skillet. cook as you would with other pancakes.

I used sugar free syrup on mine. You could top with fruit, etc...

I'm thinking of making up quite a few to have ready in the mornings! They are that good!!!!

    Makes 3 pancakes

    125 calories
    4 g carbs
    2 g fat
    23 g protein
    3 g sugar

This could all vary depending on your protein powder.

I use 1 c. quinoa, 1 or 2 eggs, and scoop of protien. My daughter LOVES these pancakes. Add water if the consistency is too thick for you.

What is the nutritional information for this? I have to try it!

Do you blend this? How many pancakes does it make? Sounds yummy! I love quinoa

I don't blend it. I just cook the quinoa and then throw it all together and mix with a spoon. It made alot of pancakes enough for the three of us to have about four 6 inch cakes or so. The batter is quite thin. They keep well. I'll make them for the week and freeze them.

Sounds delicious! I'm going to have to try this :)

Skip the protein powder and try this...Instead of syrup, I usually make a blueberry compote that has very little sugar in it. My kids ask for these almost every Monday for breakfast night.

    Chobani yogurt pancakes:

    1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 C (12oz) Vanilla 0% Chobani Greek Yogurt
    1/2 C milk
    Vegetable oil cooking spray

    Directions

Mix all dry ingredients together in large bowl. Whisk egg, Chobani and milk together. Pour wet mixture into dry mixture and whisk until smooth. Heat skillet over medium high heat. Spray pan with cooking spray. For each pancake, scoop 1/4 cup batter onto skillet. Flip when bubbles appear on top and cook until golden brown, about 1 minute.

1 ripe banana, two eggs, chia seeds and quinoa flakes. Leave sit for about 5-10 minutes so batter thickens then cook :)
