I'm told I have a slight southern accent. Although I am originally from AZ and have lived in FL for the last 17 years...I'm not sure where it comes from.

But if I really want to..... I can have a very thick Southern accent - its fun.

  • I'm from Spain and live in my country too... So, I think must be something like this:

I'm from the South Spain (Andalucia), so in Spanish I kinda 'eat' half of the letters LOL
In German, French and Italian... I sound neutral
And in English, it's said that I have american accent (but I don't really know where from...)

My wife is Cuban, and can do a spot-on "Scarface" accent. She and her brother banter back of forth occasionally, it's frickin' hilarious.

My accent is mostly eastern PA (near philly) - which is where I am from. And I have a little of this dialect that I am not even sure where it's from that I picked up from my mom and I am sure she got from my grandma (I have to ask her where it's from) but only on some words. Everyone teases me when those words come out.

I'm from the South and definitely have a southern accent, but my oldest son has a northern accent which confuses me because I've always lived in the south. Haha

I would say you have an Icelandic accent then. As long as you're from somewhere with it's own unique dialect, you have an accent. It would be like saying that the British don't have an accent, because if you were from there, you all sound the same, but a Canadian would have an accent because s/he would sound different, or vice versa.

I'm Canadian, and I have a Canadian accent (Toronto-ish, to be more precise), but to me, I don't have an accent. To you, I sound very different, so I do have an accent.
