My husband had a photoshoot done in his Iron Man Armor that he and I made by hand :-) There are more than a few pics... here goes some of them... Please note that my husband went from 230 pounds to 165 pounds in the last year as well!!! Very proud of him. He is on MFP as well, I think he is here under Ectoman_913

    Great costume!

    Handsome hubby!

I'm sewing together some Soul Reaper costumes from the Bleach anime for my kids for Halloween. My daughter says that its called cos-play. Never knew there was a name for it before now.

Very impressive! What did you use for materials? This can't just be cardboard....?

There is no cardboard in it at all. It is made out of foam mats :-) after it was put together we shalacked it with watered down tacky glue so it had a better surface to hold the paint.

This is an example of the type of mats we used...

    Costume looks great.

I think he'd make a great Captain America.
