  • Texan, but get told on occasion I could be from Cali, which is weird, because I've only ever visited, briefly, though, my mom was from there..
  • St. Louis, Midwestern accent .... But I do have a weird habit of parroting the accent of someone I'm speaking too :blushing: I don't do it on purpose!

    St. Louis, Midwestern accent ....

I like to think we're the only ones without an accent. Everyone else just needs to learn to speak properly :)

Ahahaha I know what you mean! That's why most of the newscasters are from the Midwest ;)

Lived in Virginia all my life... but I was raised by television so it's mostly a 'non-accent', and the southern accent only shows when I'm tired or inebriated. Sometimes I let it out of the box for northerners depending on whether they think it's musical, or think it means I'm a rube.

Yep, I have a southern English accent, and when I was in Canada, a few people thought I was Australian. But that's because the only English accents they'd been exposed to were those like the Queen's, and my accent is more London, which is in some ways more like an Australian accent.
  • Very Scottish accent here, especially when phoning my mum!

Also a Kiwi accent here. (New Zealand, that is.)

I honestly never notice my accent... But the guys on Flight of the Conchords have OTT Kiwi accents. Lol. Like, in NZ we have our extreme NZ accent that is really beefed up - refer to "Ghost Chips ad NZ" on Youtube. That is what people say we sound like. Lol. But that add is a major mickey take of one of our movies, 'Boy'. =)

I'm proud to be Kiwi, though.
