Eversince I lost weight my hubby seems to be more overprotective and gets upset when guys stare or compliment me. I try to convince him that I only love him, but he thinks now that I'm smaller ill go for the males with muscles. I don't know what to do one minutes he's okay then he's ready to fight a guy who stares to long.

Tell him for every compliment you get from another guy will result in a sexual act performed on him, he will be begging guys to look at and talk to you =]
You're welcome.0 -
Oh hun, I hear ya! I have this problem now and haven't even lost any weight yet. I usually just let things roll until it gets to be too much. Then I tell him to either come along for the ride or get off the bus. LoL!
I know I don't offer any solutions, as we've been married for 23 yrs. and it's always been this-a-way but, I just wanted to let ya know that ya sure ain't alone.0 -

They can look but you go home with him at the end of the day. He should feel flattered to be with such a man magnet lol0

My Ex hated it too!! But, My husband GLOATS about it!! He LOVES that other guys look at me and stare and then i love up on him!! It makes him look at the guys and say, "HA, I got her and you dont!" or, "Yeah, i know my baby looks good!"0

Invite him to work out with you, since it's likely that he's just insecure about his own fitness level. There isn't really anything you can do to ease that insecurity except to keep expressing that he's the one for you, and maybe try to inspire him to kick up his own exercise routine a bit.0

This video by a psychologist helped me a little. http://youtu.be/9lMqxzxd4QY0

I've been dealing with this since day 1 of my relationship and we're going on 2 years now. It's not fun. I like the posters idea of for every compliment, you you do something sexy for your partner. If he hasn't always been that way, then maybe once you've maintained your weightloss for a while he'll simmer down. Change is hard, even when it's positive change.0

My boyfriend totally gloats about it. He loves that I work out (he's always singing "Sexy (and I Know It)" and replaces "I work out" with "she work out" haha. And he loves that I'm losing weight and he shows me off.
Your hubby and you need to have a good, long talk about it but in the long run it's his insecurity. Why don't you try to get him to join you!? :flowerforyou:0 -

Mainly - you can't fix his insecurities .. but you can encourage him he's all you'll ever want .. and come join you on your journey to great health! If you have kids .. say you're doing it for them. Tell him you want nothing more than to spend MANY long and healthy years yet to come with him.. you're getting healthy for yourself, for him .. for your children and loved ones. Ask him to walk with you -- and this journey to a wonderful, energetic and healthy lifestyle together. :flowerforyou:0 -
Dont make a big deal of it...Your a very beautiful woman, and the weight lost more than likely increased the beauty times 10 and he just wasnt used to it, its a change for him also, it will go away, he will start showing you off in a minute....i guarantee it....if he was like that from the beginning or around the start of yall relationship then I would call that insecurity....a new change bringing about new unsual attention...i write that off as just trying to adapt.....it will be fine lmao0

It's probably new to him, and he has to adjust to having an even more attractive wife. He's not used to other men checking you out. It may pass with time, and he may learn to be proud to have such fine arm candy!
Just make sure to be extra encouraging to him and tell him how sexy you think he is (esp compared to other guys!)0 -

just remind your boyfriend that they get to look, he gets to touch.
he shouldn't be angry with those other guys. they just want to sleep with you for the same reasons your husband does. They're just human like him. so long as he trusts you not to cheat, the other men are pretty irrelevant.0 -
