Stomach Bug Yesterday...Should I Work Out Today?

Yesterday I felt fine all day...I came back from a good run, took a shower, and suddenly started feeling very nauseous. I laid down hoping it would pass, but it ended lasting all evening and I felt terrible. Couldn't keep anything down.
Today I feel pretty much fine, just more tired than normal and my lymph nodes are swollen. Also, whenever I eat, my mouth starts to burn and ache. Which is weird, but I assume it's due to the aftermath of violent vomiting.
My question to you is, should I exercise today or continue to rest? I feel like I could sleep all day...but I also want to go to Bodypump in a couple hours. Thanks for any advice. Also any thoughts on the burning mouth thing? It really makes it difficult to eat anything.

is taking today off going to make or break your progress? No. If you are that sick and feel that tired, cut yourself some slack and sleep.0

If you feel ok to go, get through your warmup and see how you feel. If there's no nausea or anything, I say go for it. If you're not up to it, cut it short and go get some sleep.0

If you feel like you should sleep all day then do that! If you feel up to a workout then do so... don't let your personal feelings rule over your actual needs! Figure out what you need and do it!0

Swish maalox or another liquid antiacid around in your mouth, then spit it out. It should help with the burning. If you haven't been able to eat today, then I would not do the high-intensity class, if you don't want to skip working out altogether a walk or something more gentle might be better.0

Get some rest and start working out when you feel better. Exercising when you're sick can do more harm than good. You can try warming up and doing light exercise to see how you feel, but stop if you start feeling nauseous again.0
