    Welcome!! My best recommendation is to stick too it and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or how small. Every little step counts. There are lots of great people here and lots of help, but perhaps the best thing you have done is made the commitment toward your goal. Congratulations!!!
  • Welcome to MFP - one of the best things you can do for yourself. What's working for me...lots of good food (veggies, fruits, whole grains), keeping track (I love MFP for this - never have done anything like it before, but this site is designed for positive reinforcement. Love it!), and exercise (working up from just a little). I agree with the other poster about celebrating every accomplishment.
