    Aww..you just made me cry and that is not easy to do!!! I understand completely how you feel and what an amazing feeling you must of had at that moment. My son is a senior this year and one of my motivations is his graduation. He is a long distance runner, a good one at that, and he loves to poke fun at me because of how out of shape I am. He calls me "weaker."

    I want to prove to him that I am not. I want him to be as proud of me as I am of him come next May. I, too, put so much into my children that I forgot about myself. I was a runner in high school, as well, and I remember telling myself that I would never let myself go (the way my mother did) when I was older. What happened to that girl?

    I want that "hug" you got last night!!!

    That's a huge accomplisment! Thats what this is all about (at least for me), not the numbers on the scale but the feeling! The confidence, the pride and the self-love that come with taking better care of ourselves and pushing ourselves to be the best we can be for ourselves and our families.

    The numbers on the scale are just a really cool side effect!

    awesome story! being a mom is hard work in itself..but when you start dealing with other moms it makes things a bit harder.
