has anyone found out how to get over a plateau!!!

I have been stuck on a plateau myself for a while but part of it has been my fault having had a few things I shouldn't. There things to keep an eye on though
1) have plenty of water at least 8 glasses ( I have not been so that has been one of my problems so have been pushing it the past few days )
2) make sure you eat enough food of healthy stuff if you don't have enough calories your body will go into starvation mode so it will store fat because it doesn't want to starve. I had to teach myself to eat enough women should have atleast 1200 calories and a man should have atleast 1700 calories ( think it is 500 more for men ) but don't eat the lowest possible add a couple of hundred calories on top of the minimum.
3) get plenty of sleep another thing I am not doing but trying to improve on.
4) watch your artificial sugar ( fruit sugars are not too bad )
5) keep you salt down too
6) try not to have too much processed food too.

Drink more water, re-assess calorie goals (I upped mine by 300 recently), either change your exercise or up the intensity.... There's lots of things to try0

Right, the answer is usually eat more. I've never had a plateau. Eat man!0

It's hard to speak in a general sense. I'd have to know every single thing about you. It's likely that you have something you can change. If you do the same workout routine, that can easily cause a plateau. Sometimes, a huge feed over a weekend can help kick start things. For me, I drastically cut calories. I tried everything else first, nothing worked. I dropped my cals a day to around 1200, and the weight came off. Then, I increased my cals back up, and I've maintained where I want to be.
Things I've done in the past...just stop working out for a week or two. When you start back up, it kind of double shocks your body.
These are just some suggestions. You need to think about what you are doing and change something. One warning, try not to change more than one variable at a time so you can know for sure what worked and what didn't. I have a bad habit of changing 4 things all at the same time so I never know precisely which thing worked and which thing had no effect. I don't recommend it. One thing at a time and see what effect it has.0 -
In the past, the answers for me have always been either drink more water, eat more veges, or increase calories.0

I went back to basics. More or less, started over again. Logging every bit of food, water, and exercise. It is helping tremendously.0
