Ideas for exercising?

Hey everyone,
I want to exercise 5 days a week and i love walking however I have fears of animals so I can't walk anytime alone or with someone else. However, with my work schedule I can't go to the GYM or walk around work area. What can I do?
ps: I have tried exercising with DVD's but most of them are too boring for me:(

I sometimes get up half an hour early and do some calisthenics (upper body exercises/abs work usually) in front of whatever I've 'sky-plussed' over the week. Also, I might run up and down the stairs a few times to get my heart rate up.
Also, what about cleaning? I've found that vacuuming the entire house (cleaning, heavy vigorous effort the way I do it!) can burn 120 calories, add making beds etc. and you can get the equivalent of a workout in!0 -
I am going to "bump" this because I am looking for things to do.
I walk and have an elliptical, but I need to start strength training and find a trainer too expensive, but video programs seem to come with strings attached to some kind of hard sell.0 -
Cleaning is a great way to burn some calories however working 7 days a week is really tiring so I can't find time to do good cleaning most of the time ( I have someone else who cleans for me)0
