Hey, so I'm wondering what kind of experiences you women out there have had with weight loss and the size/shape of your chest.
I'm about 170 pounds, 5'5" right now. I started out at 195 and a 36 D. I currently have a bra size of 34 DD (my band size shrunk a lot, so the cup size went up a little), and that's starting to get loose. I was a nice, perky 32 C when I was 15, 140 pounds, 5'4" (and I assure you I was almost fully developed by then... I hit puberty in the fifth grade. Sadface.). I'm almost 20 now, so I feel like I still have a lot of that youthful elasticity left in my skin.
The question is, when I get to my goal weight, will my breasts perk back up? They're not awful now, but they're definitely much saggier than I'd like them to be. I just really want to have small, cute boobs again. I miss being able to wear strapless bras and button up shirts and regular swimsuits without underwire. I'm too young to have saggy boobs! :C
A lot of people say that they got saggy when they lost weight... But it seems like most of those people are a lot older than me and have been pregnant at some point. They also had a lot more weight to lose. Are there any youngsters out there with a similar profile to me?

Your body is uniquely yours. There's no way to know what your boobs will do until after you have lost the weight. Your boobs might shrink and get perky, they might shrink and get saggy, or they might not shrink at all.
Mine shrank proportionally, so that I maintained the same cup size as the band size went down (i.e. 42C --> 32C). I'm 30 and my boobs are DEFINITELY not as saggy as they were at 42C. As in, it looks like my nipples climbed up a little. I'm very happy about that. However, I do have very slight dimpling on the boobs that appear and disappear on my posture. They weren't there back when I was fatter and my breasts fuller. It has been less than a year since I lost the weight, though, so I'll give it more time and see what happens.0 -

This is thrilling news!0 -
Mine just got small and perky after I lose my weight! Unfortunately they wont stop shrinking now xD0

I have lost close to 60 lbs since last year..and i lost everything but the weight in my chest. Still a 28DD. I think if you want to reduce chest size your best bed would to do some weights and build more muscle in that area. At least thats the advice I got.0

I wish mine would just shrink and shrink and never keep shrinking. :I I really do hate having big boobs. I'm a practical-minded person, so they really bother me. They just... get in the way.
Unfortunately, I know they will probably never get below a size C. The last time I was under a size C, I was in the 7th grade. Haha.0 -
I have noticed that since I've lost weight, my breasts are smaller (much smaller!!!! yikes) but they are less sagging as well. Less general fat pulling them down. Plus, I do more chest exercises now than I used to (because I used to do NONE lol) and I think that's helpful also.... and upper back exercises to keep your posture in the correct position to keep them more upward looking.0

I think boobs just get less perky when you go down in weight- There's not much you can do about it except lose weight slowly- wear a bra that fits properly and always wear a GOOD sports bra!0

Because of your age, I would expect they skin will fix itself. I would always wear a bra so there is no added strain on the skin in the mean time. If they dont bounce back you can work your pec muscles to push the fat and glands out to fill the skin.0

I'm in the same boat as you. When I was at my lowest weight of 107 to my second highest weight of 144 I was always a 34C. Now I'm 160 and they are a 36DD. I'm interested in what people have to say. >.<0

I was a D cup in high school, best now am a B cup
C cup looked the best on me i think! You will get there with time I would think0 -
I share your opinion on your boobs, I had 34dd boobs at the age of 16 and I would love to have anything near that now but I am currently a 36g, going down approximately 2 back sizes. I finally learnt to love my body, no idea how or when it happened but I glad I did because although I would like to be smaller I accept that my body is what it is and I can't change it as such...its saggy skin I dread but on my stomach :S0

I hope mine shrink. A LOT more than they already have. I had breast reduction surgery when I was 18, because they were soooo big, and the doctors said I had a high risk of breast cancer. They've since grown back. I can't wait to lose all my weight. I hope they become really really small. :laugh:0

I was 196lbs (at 5"5) with C cup breasts.
Now 155.5 lbs with more pert A/B cups. I'd have preferred them to perk up but stay at Cs, but meh. They're very cute now.
What happens with your breasts is down to your pyshiology, hun.0 -
focus on core exercises to help with your posture and some chest exercises to improve your pecs. If you have good muscle in your pecs it will help keep your breast perkier whatever their size. On a side note my body continued to change shape until i was about 22, only subtly but my body shape was more rounded when i was younger, even though i weighed less than i do now0

I have lost 11lbs and am nearing my goals weight rapidly (3-4lbs to go).
However, I carried most of my weight on my hips thighs and bum so my bra size has gone from a nearly overflowing 32F to a nicely fitting in the cup but need to do it up on the first set of hooks 32F (I really don't want to even TRY to find a smaller band size because here in the land of Oz the choices for us 10F/32F is really limited, never mind going down a band size because I don't want to even KNOW what my cup size would be on a smaller band!)
I have lost a little weight around my rib cage but not too much in the actual bust department. Don't freak though because I think I am more the exception than the rule.0 -
I will happily take everyone's boobs! My poor little fellas have gone from a handful to a mere mosquito bite Shrinkage yo.0

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE smaller boobs, too! Three years ago, when I was down to my ideal weight at 120, they had finally shrunk to large C's, or else small D's on my period. But with the weight gain, they are back up to DD's (and sometimes bigger.) I despise it.
I do remember a little saggage when they were smaller, but I think I was more self-conscience about the stretch marks than the lack of perky. Thanks to decades of cycling weight, those will never go away.
I wasn't entirely pleased about the saggy, but it was waaaaay better than being OMFG GIGANTIC BOOBS GIRL. One of the reasons I feel so dedicated to getting healthier now - I had a taste of cute bras and shirts and I want that back! It'll take a while, though - the FIRST place I gain and the LAST place I lose is always my breasts. Mad, mad frustrating. (It seems like no matter who you are, the hardest place to lose inches is the place you want to lose inches the most. Why is that????)0 -
To be honest, I really wish I had your problem. Mine keep shrinking like crazy!
But basically, boobs are plain fat, so you'll eventually lose them as you lose fat all over your body. And if you don't want them to get saggy, I suggest you do some exercises for your pecs (such as pushups on your knees) and your upper back so your posture improves and the boobs go up!0
