Women's shirts and big arms
A few weeks ago, I went out shopping with my MIL. The hard part was finding shirts. There are several I liked and should be able to wear, except that I have big arms and the shirts have tiny sleeves that won't go over my elbows. It's depressing to know I can fit into XL/1X (which fit great except the arms), but still have to wear 3X/4X (are super baggy except the arms) because of my arms.
Anyone else have this problem?
If it matters, my biceps are 16.5" and about half muscle/half flab. I'm sure it happens to women with actual muscles.

my arms are 14,...I just got into a size reg large shirt!,..but often the sleeves r too tight.
my arms are 30% flab,..but it's better than b4!,....4 yrs my mom made her own blouses -just 4 this reason,or would cut the sleeve & add a button loop,or elastic,..it stinks that clothing designers dont take our shapes into account more.Congrats on getting down to a xl/1x!! keep up the great wrk!!!0 -
Zyxst, have you tried shopping at Lane Bryant. They are on the expensive side of clothing but their clothes are made for plus sized women and they take your issue into consideration. I feel your pain. I've been making my own clothes off and on for years for this very reason.0
