How often do you weigh yourself?

Just curious. Every day seems excessive for me personally, maybe I'll do every week, same time (before eating, after using the bathroom first thing).

Once a week is the right amount. I used to do every day also and it just goes up and down that I started just weighing every Friday morning before I eat.0
-
Every day and I do not get discouraged by natural fluctuations, because I have one official weigh in day that I record my weight once a week, Friday mornings.0
-
every monday......sometimes im just curious and check more but its usually just every monday0
-
Once a week, when I have discipline, ha. It also prevents deterrents.0

My husband stole my scale haha.. I became obsessed and discouraged all at the same time. I focus on measurements now and I get my scale back every 30 days :0/0
-
I also weigh every day but record only on Friday mornings. It drives my fiance crazy, but I find it helps me stay motivated. I also track measurements once per month.0
-
I sometimes check during the week, but my official weigh in days are Friday mornings as soon as I get out of bed (after I use the bathroom of course)0
-
Friday AM - I log the weight, even if I gained. I like to see where the fluctations are. Keeps me honest.0

I used to weigh in once every week on sunday... but now I usually weigh once a month, and I find that is good for me!0

I do it once a week (like you said, same time, before eating, after going to the bathroom, haha!). I chose to do it on Friday morning with the thought that if I am a little more lax in my working out or paying attention to what I'm eating, I've got Monday through Thursday to get back on track. It's always worked for me:)0

I'm an every day weigh-er. It does help keep me on track and it's SO exciting to see the scale show me a lower number.0

Friday right after my early morning workout....i've done the several times a week then and almost driven myself crazy (see weight fluctuate 6 pounds from one day to another), so now I stick to once a week.0
-
I weigh myself most mornings. I log ALL losses and any gains 3 pounds or more. It keeps me motivated and I have a better idea of when my natural fluctuations occur. In other words, I'm beginning to REALLY know whether that 2 pound jump is really from Aunt Flo & Uncle Crampy or from my own weaknesses in the diet/fitness area.0

Everyday. Motivation if I gain or lose.0

I do it every day that I work out. I do it so that I get familiar with my trends. I tend to go up 4 pounds over the week end only to find that by Wednesday its back to where I thought it should be. I don’t get upset when the scales don’t register the way I would like but I do use it to drive me so I don’t slack up.0

Weigh In Wednesdays! I weigh in on Wednesdays and record the weight I see. Wednesdays because it is mid-week when I am more likely to be better disciplined. Mondays are the day after the weekend and I usually drink and eat a little more on those days. I usually weigh more on Mondays compared to later in the week because of water weight from the weekends.0

Like every 2 weeks... doing it frequently makes me a little obsessive.0
-
Every day, first thing, but post here no more than once a week, and only if I've lost more than a pound.0
-
I do just about every day and it does go up and down. This weekend I didn't as I was eatting so much, but checked this morning and was up 1-1/2,.
I've turned off my notification as Im just trying to maintain and get stronger, and didn't need the encouragement everytime.0 -
I check myself every monday morning at the same time... helps to be consistent with the time of day too...0
-
NEVER ! no..I wish, though I think I have a fear of the scales now !
supposedly once a week, but now down to once I feel good about myself/weight...every 3weeks ? or else it all gets too emotional and distressing0 -
I weigh myself every Saturday morning for my "official" weekly weight but sometimes take a peak at the scale mid-week to make sure I'm still moving in the right direction.0
-
Usually I would weigh myself once per week (Friday mornings, around about the same time each morning).
Then I could enjoy my weekend and if I went a bit too over the top, I would have four days Monday to Thursday to pull back any overspend before getting back on the scales on the Friday.
But at the moment I'm trying something new where my weigh-ins are around 7 to 10 weeks apart. It makes me focus on more than the number on a machine, and seems to work quite well for me.
I wouldn't really recommend weighing more than once per week unless it's simply to understand how salt intake etc. can have a dramatic effect on weight variance. But for true weight loss, the incremental changes on anything less than a weekly basis hardly justify the bother of checking the scales.0 -
Everyday. Motivation if I gain or lose.
Same here.....so if i gain i know i have to alter something for today, if i lose, well i know i'm on track and can continue what im doing...0 -
I weigh in every Monday morning. Week-ends are hardest for me, so knowing I am weighing in on Monday morning helps keep me a little more accountable.0
-
I actually have no set weigh-in. Sometimes I'll think "I haven't weighed myself in a while" and will do so...usually when things start fitting a bit looser or I feel certain areas tighten up more and I'm curious to see where I'm at. I have a few friends who are obsessive about the scale, so I'm trying my hardest not to go down that path and just focus on how I feel and how things are fitting.0

+1
I am thinking of maybe even scaling back the scale to once a month.0 -
Everyday in the morning before eating. I only log on Thursdays. It helps me to keep on track!0
-
:flowerforyou: I weigh on Tuesday mornings, first thing. I give myself 1 day to recoup after the weekend (just in case I've over-indulged!). I'm afraid if I weigh on Fridays and have done well that I might use that success as an excuse to reward myself. Just me....just sayin'.
