Apparently, birth control (certain types) messes with women and makes them MORE attracted to less manly men. SO, women who use birth control are MORE likely to be attracted to men without body hair and with more feminine features whereas women who don't use birth control are more likely to be attracted to body hair, strong jawlines, mustaches, etc (the more typical markers of masculinity). It's some kind of thing... I forget. I remember reading it though. :P

Well naturally a male with a thick coat is presumed healthy enough for breeding. That the offspring will have great genes and a stronger chance for survival. A healthy male is a hairy male in the animal kingdom. We aint nothing but animals baby.
