I was trying to burn 1500 cals during my cardio workout yesterday when my HRM started acting up at 1345 cals (86 minutes in) and I just stopped there because I was so blowm by my Polar FT4 acting up again. Think I'm gonna buy a new one. Does anyone have the Polar FT60or - FT80? Have you had any issues with them?

how long you had yours?0 -
If it's over a year old your battery may be dying. They start doing strange things before it dies.0

I have a FT4 & a new FT60. I love both, but FT60 is my fave one. I constantly have the problem it shows me as dead... yep a 00 heart rate while working out & that pisses me off.... both my ones do it all the time. That was the whole reason I went upgrade to FT60 cause I thought the other one was dying.... turns out it's just me that is???? I don't know how to stop it from doing it. The straps are ALWAYS cleaned.... like in the wash cleaned & then hung out to dry right away. Didn't have a problem at the start.... then about a month into having them it all starts again.
But apart from that I love the FT60. 3 zones to workout in. I love to challenge myself stay in the high zone all the time.... or I just dont feel like I did any good.0
