Mornings (Delightful or Dread it) - LARDio

Hey All, Im new here, posted my introduction and wanted to say hi here too. Started my workouts today, just proper diet, I hope and cardio.. (LARDio)

So, do you do your workout / running in the morning..? 6-7 am ..? Im not really fond of early.. but would love to hear your best practices on what gets you going.. early-bird .. ? night-owl ..?

    My motivation and energy is best mid to late afternoon. Can't stand early mornings or after dinner. 3:00 to 4:00 is my sweet spot.

    Wish I could work out in the morning but I am basically like a vampire when the morning sun hits my eyes: I burst into flames, so I workout at night before going to sleep

    Welcome to MFP!! I'm a night owl so I generally work out in the evenings - bootcamp starts at 7:00pm. Running is the exception to this - I have to run in the AM when I'm training for a race. I'm sure it's all mental, but somehow I just don't have the same energy when I run in the evening......but I also can't do a bootcamp in the morning, it kills me. Go figure.....

    Mornings for sure- I try to get to the gym for 5:30am, just as it's opening. Nice and quiet and lots of free equipment! Wakes me up and helps keep me on track for the day.
