What happens after weight loss?

My weight loss journey started when I found out I had gallstones. I had being lying to myself about how bad I was eating and let myself go after giving birth to my daughter. I kick started my weight loss by juicing and lost the first 25 lbs really quick. After my gallbladder surgery I continued to juice but slowly started working healthy foods into my diet and started excercizing. I learned so many things about eating right and I felt on top of the world. About a month or so ago I hit 40 lbs lost, I hadn't felt this good in years.
Fast forward to now. My boyfriend lost his job, his brother in law moved in with us with no job. I had to quit the gym because we can't afford it. Also because of the financial drain they both put on our family I'm having to eat no so nutrious food. They also dominate the tv so I can't even workout at home anymore. I'm not saying they aren't looking for jobs because they are and I'm certainly not saying I'm not making excuses either.
I still have 40 more lbs to lose but I just feel well defeated. I thought I was strong enough to conquer this but I'm finding myself slowly slipping back into out habits, I just don't know what to do.

if you have to eat unhealthy foods - eat less of it, just make sure it fits.

going for a walk sounds like a perfect thing to do to get away from the boys - its exercise, and free exercise is even better!

Definitely go for a walk (or a run). Get some good music and get outta the house. Also, let the boys fend for themselves. Cook dinner just for you. It can be done on a budget. Chicken and bags of frozen veggies are pretty cheap. Buy what fits that's on sale that week (whatever fruit/veggies are on sale, cans of beans, cans of soup, turkey). I have to admit I don't worry about sodium quite as much when money is tight, but you can still stay within calories.

Plan ahead. I make all my work snacks on Sunday. I pack my lunches the night before (or if I don't, hence the easy can of soup). I usually decide on dinner during the middle of the day after I've eaten lunch when I'm not hungry and can think about what I have. Then I plug it into MFP ahead of time and that's dinner. If the guys are eating a lot of snack food and fast food, get rid of that stuff, it's not cheap!

I like the suggestion Caitlyn gave re: portions. But eating healthy doesn't have to be more expensive! Just more time consuming. You can look for sales in the circulars, and buy in bulk in places that offer it if you have a freezer. If you can get some inexpensive meats, then you can make just about anything healthy. Meat, potato or rice, and a veg is a standard and inexpensive dinner, for example. The trick is adding the right spices to make it different every day. LOL

Also, in addition to walking, check out this site.

You don't need the TV to do the exercise, just the internet at least once, and a pen and paper to write the routine down. I do it while the kids are watching Disney Jr. As long as they don't mind the gasping for air in the back ground, I can do it 2 or 3 times a week and still rock it out!

You don't need a gym or a tv to lose weight. And eating healthy does not have to cost a fortune.

I have lost my weight w/out a gym (except for the very rare occassion I use the one at the office). Running/walking outdoors is free. Get two milk jugs fill them with water or sand - there you have some weights.

    Squats
    Lunges
    Sit ups/crunches
    Planks
    Push ups
    Jump Jacks
    Jump Rope
    Stairs
    Dancing

All require NO equipment!! Do not make anymore excuses. You can continue your journey but you have to want it!!

DON"T give up - you have done so well and you know how hard it is to start again!!!!!!!!
Work out outside/inside/anywhere! Google home work outs and keep going!
You can eat healthy on a budget - you just gotta be a little more imaginative.
NO more excuses - you did it and you can keep it up!
Remember how crap you felt before you started this journey - the hard part is over, you just got to keep it up.
Are there any free swimming pools around where you are? Cheap community boot camps? Is there a park/beach near you?
    30 Air Squats
    20 lunges
    10 burpees
    20 sit ups
    10 push ups
    sprint
repeat 5 x times and there's a outdoor work out.
    You can do this!

Thank you these are great suggestions. I think I do pretty well on the budget for food but sometimes I fall into the super cheap/unhealthy food because well it's cheap.
