I am so inspired by so many of you on this site!
I am 50, 151 lbs, 5' 4", trying to lose weight-about 15 more pounds. I finally get it-log my food according to the roadmap for TDEE etc., exercise a lot more and now I need strength training.
Can anyone send some exercises I can do at home? I don't have equipment, so send along anything that comes to mind, along with any information on the specific exercise so I don't do it incorrectly!
planks
squats
lunges....
THANK YOU!!!

Pinterest.com has a lot of workouts you can do at home with no equipment. I use them all the time: such as
10 pushups
10 cruches
20 lunges ( 10 each leg)
20 squats
60 jumping jacks
20 sec plank
repeat 3 to 5 times
also bodyrock.tv has a bunch too. They have some with equipment and some with out.0 -
I am glad you asked this. I do use the weights at the Y but when I'm at home I'd sure like to use things around the house. That nerdiftness site is pretty helpful.0

Great links above! Also, if you want to keep it mixed up and keep doing different stuff, I just downloaded several apps today called "Daily X Workout" - where X is Abs, Arms, Butt, Cardio, or Legs, respectively. It gives you a different workout to do every day for these different major area. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say how good it is, but I do know that it shows you video on how to do the move.0
