One Year and 24 Pounds Later...

I knew I had let myself get above my usual goal weight by about 10 pounds. My husband wanted to lose a good bit of weight so I introduced him to MFP and we both bought FitBits 2/1/12. Got to 10 pounds and was doing well, feeling good, running a lot so figured I'd just see where I ended up. I ended up weighing about what I weighed in high school -- and I graduated in 1975 so that was a LONG time ago! I have slacked on strength training logging miles for the half marathon I ran 9/22, but once we get back from vacation 10/29, I will be back in the gym working on my guns and abs of steel!

thank you! anybody who bemoans "just" losing 5 pounds or 10 pounds -- it all adds up. That's why I have to be more religious with MFP and keeping track so I don't creep back up again, too.
