So I will be getting a nice pay in a fortnight or so, and I keep hearing great things here about the fitbit. So my question is, is it worth it? and more clearly, what will it do for me??
Thanks

Nope to the first question, nothing for the second question0

Mine broke after about a month and I am still waiting 3 weeks later for a replacement.
But......before it broke, it was great! It's a good motivator. Just don't know how well they are made that's all.0 -
I was also curious what the difference between the ultra and the one are as the website isnt that clear??0

ok, I seem to be a good record with keeping things in once piece and working, Im happy so long as it actually does what it says?0

My work lets us use one for 2 weeks and track everything, if we like it we can purchase one for 20% off. ....so I did try it however it reminded me of a fancy pedometer. And I hate having to wear something so expensive everyday. So I think I will stick with My Fitness Pal and Map My Run apps, they are cheap and way better. I was just curious to see how fitbit tracked my sleep, but really it wasn't worth it in my opinion :ohwell:0

fair enough, I am just wondering if it would make MFP more accurate as I would be linking the two, rather than using the fitbit tracker site?0

I use a motoactv for this purpose.
As I do a variety of different activities, the motoactv more accurately tracks things cycling - I've got a heart rate monitor that connects to it which also helps.
Also, there's no subscription fee - once you've paid for it, it's yours. And it has an MP3 player built in, which I find useful for runs/walks/cycle rides etc.0 -
Totally worth it!! I am lost without my fitbit0
