Suggestions on a good heart rate monitor

I need to get a good heart rate monitor that will tell me distances, calories and all that with the breat piece. Does anyone have any recommendations of some good ones on the market? Thanks

    i just got the polar ft7, it has a chest strap and watch. Seems to work well for me.
