                    Hi all:
So I am fairly new to MFP, and I totally dig it! It has been so helpful! I do have a few questions, however. Scratch that. Only one, I figured out what NSV meant today. Haha. My other question was about logging exercise. I am getting ready to start Jillian Michael's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and I am not sure how to log that, or if it even matters if I log that.
Any and all (I may regret that) words of wisdom are welcome
Thanks!

Most ppl log it as "circuit training" and enter the length.0

Second that! A HRM is going to be the most accurate way for you to log the calories you burn, plus it will help you focus your exercise and make sure you aren't pushing yourself TOO hard or not hard enough.0

I do pilates too, but I just log it as general pilates and the time.
 Thanks everyone!
I also learned what HRM stands for This site should come with a dictionary. 0 This site should come with a dictionary. 0

            IMO....
Calculate your base metabolic rate - (Google BMR calculator)
Then do the multiplication of your activity level
 Subtract 500 (500 cal defceit a day X 7 days a week = 3500 = 1lb fat loss)
Use that calorie goal and update every 5 to 10lbs lost
Log your exercise but just put in 1 cal.
I have my calorie goal set and log my exercise but I don't log a calorie burn b/c of the stupid net cals/eating back exercise calories crap0

If the person wants to come back to the thread later they'll "bump" it; then it shows that they commented on this thread and they can easily find it again
Also refreshes it on the recent posts list in a way0
