new to fitness pal

Hi all.... hope everyone is on their way to losing their desired weight. I am 245 and ideally need to lose about 100 pounds.. that will be ideal.. but i want to start off by losing 30 and see where i can go from their.. is anyone from new york...feel free to leave me a message... and again good luck on your weight loss journey

    Welcome! You have made the right step in joining MFP. It's the perfect place to be accountable and get motivated!
    Remember to take baby steps even if it means taking it day by day or meal by meal. Those small steps, with consistency, do make a substantial difference. When you exercise consistently and make more smart food choices than bad ones - THAT is what will get you the change you want. It is not a fast process, but you CAN do it! Good luck on reaching your health fitness goal!
  • I'm new to this! Not just to fitness pal, but to this commitment. I weight 307 and need to be 140. I'm going to need a lot of structure, advice, and support and it looks like Ill find that here!
