Protein...?

I just wanted to know if there's any food out there that's low in carbs/fat but high in protein?

Lots of foods. Chicken is 85% protein, 15% fat and no room left in there for Carbs.
  • It's a good thing I just stocked up on chicken then! Thank you!!

Protein powder but do your research first, some are better than others. Cottage cheese, greek yogurt, fish, especially fish.

Edit: The 5oz of fish I had for dinner had 133 cals, 0 carbs, 3 fat, and 26 protein.

I like 99/1 extra lean ground turkey. It's almost pure protein. A 1.25 pound package yields 130g protein, 0g carbs, and maybe 4g of fat, if that.

Remember, fat =/= fat in your body. Naturally occurring fats can be excellent for you (especially the omega3s in fatty fish).

All of the above, plus good quality protein shakes. I use Horleys Ice Whey 36g protein 0.6g carb 0.3g fat per serve.
  • Almonds / nuts, eggs, fish, tofu, lean red meat, chicken, seeds (flax, pumpkin, etc.), legumes (kidney beans, edamame, peas, lentils, etc.), low-fat dairy.
  • Agreed, kangaroo is the business. Normal mince literally pales in comparison (not just because kanga is leaner... but beef is paler in colour). I know, I crack myself up too. :D
