Yell Fire! By Michael Franti & Spearhead.

I remember being on a treadmill and finishing up week 9 of the C25K. I was about 10 minutes away from finishing a FULL RUN for 30 minutes straight. I thought I wouldn't make it and then this song came on my iPod. I will never forget it because it gave me the motivation to KEEP GOING and finish that run. From now on, this is always on my playlist.

I have a very eclectic collection of playlists. Sometimes I listen to a whole musical... like Evita or Les Miserable. I find that I can concentrate on the story, I love the movie and it really helps a long distance training session go quickly. Sometimes I listen to audiobooks, again this helps the long runs go by quickly. Of course I have lots of great music for outdoors and at the gym. some of my favourites are:

I love Melissa Ethridge's "I Run for Life" and when I need to set a faster pace, I like:
    The Who -- Baba O'Riley
Michael Jackson -- Black or White
the Black Eyed Peas -- Boom Boom Pow
Bryan Adams -- Can't Stop This Thing We've Started
    Gloria Estefan -- Conga
Cascade -- Evacuate the Dance floor
Enrique Iglesias (with Pitbull) -- I like How It Feels.
Adam Lambert - If I had you and Never Close Your Eyes
Shakira -- Waka Waka ... and Whenever, Wherever
Bon Jovi - We weren't Born to Folllow

Sometimes I have my own concert, sometimes, it's comedy. I have some great French and Italian songs I love. Really I mix it up so I don't get bored. I have an old iPod and my iPhone as back ups... can't imagine working out now without music.
