In March I suffered a fall which resulted in various knee injuries and conditions. One of which is patellar tendinitis - yay!

Have been doing everything physio said to do and more, ensure a proper warm-up and cooldown as well as do dynamic and static stretches about once a day. I have a good ointment which helps with the inflammation as well as a strap - the past few days however I've found taht my discomfort is coming back and so am wondering if anyone has suggestions?

I do strengthen my knee all-around as well as work to keep my muscles from tightening up too much. Use proper rests, etc so I'm out of ideas...

I have tendonitis in my left medial knee also, you have to strengthen your quads as I am sure PT told you. I found that when I was a gym member, and was taking spin 3-5xweek, all pain and swelling is gone. my docotr said she recommends the bike for people with tendonitis in the knee. nowadays I mainly walk uphill and alternate with strength training. I do take an antiinflammatory before strength trainingand if I am sore the next day, I lay off stregnth training for a while. the treadmill never seems to bother it though
