Hello, I am new to the site, today is my second day. I am hoping and find some good tips and even better support. I started a small goal of 5 lbs by November 18th but the ultimate goal is to be down 50lbs by this time next year. I figure that is a reasonable goal. My step son wants to do a 5k and I would love to be able to do it with him.

Welcome to MFP, 5lbs. is a realistic goal to achieve that's a good start for you already. Have you build a workout routine already or perhaps a program to get you started with?0

I am still trying to figure the wokout routine out. Like all people I feeli like my day is already packed. My daughter is in three sports and my son does choir and sports as well. Seems like we are always running them somewhere. I do try to make sure as a family we do active outings. Hiking, bike rides, walking the dog together. We are members of the YMCA but have not been able to get there for many months. Any advice would be wonderful!0
