  • One step further - I immediately start looking for stairs!
  • What really sucks is that on my c25k podcast, that song is instrumental. Like, tuba only. It's awful. If it were the proper version, it absolutely would push me through.

    No dice.

But when All That Remains comes on, I push myself a TON harder.

Yep, I admit it. Guilty. Always run/bike/punch a little harder with that song. Love it!

I would stamp on my iPhone until such time as it revert to the usual Foo Fighters centric Gym Playlist...

I recommend you keep stamping on it until it stops trying to torture you like that.

I have it on my running playlist ON PURPOSE (gasp)...and it always seems to come on at about mile 10 during a half marathon. It's uncanny...and a good thing, because it really does make me run faster. LOL.
  • Guilty! lol And throw in some air punches too!

The beat isn't fast enough for cardio. Or it's too fast, if you try to stride on every note.

I try to put songs on my cardio playlist that have fast, steady beats, or which have steady beats that alternate from faster to slower from choruses and verses. Helps with pacing for HIIT.

    It's a good song though...

I don't have it on my playlist but I will admit that I am going to add it now because this does happen with some other songs.

When "Eye of the Tiger" comes on your playlist, you always try to run faster or lift heavier. Everybody does it.

This happens to me when I hear NKOTB's Hangin Tough!!!
