night shift worker

I work nights, but only take a nap during the day to prep, so I eat 3 meals during the day and 3 at night. I do alot of walking in my job at night, so shouldn't that be ok? I still have not mastered eating and working nights. Any insight?

Welcome tracey :flowerforyou:
Other than making sure you get at least 7 hours of sleep, it sounds like you're fine. 6 meals is not a problem as long as they aren't all 1,500 calories.
Grazing throughout the day is a good way to keep your metabolism moving and a good way to make sure you're never starving--because that leads to eating too much!0 -

Wow how do you manage with only a nap! I work overnights once in awhile, my shifts rotate and next week I will be on overnight shift. I usually get home at 630am and like to workout then be asleep by 7:30 and wake up around 2:30 in the afternoon to have something to eat, workout, and get ready for work. 6 meals is definitely good to fit in, but I don't know how you make it with only a nap!0
