My successful pants story

I put on some pants today and I didn't have to suck in, lean back and strain for dear life to get them buttoned. It was amazing. Being a fatty, I never realized (or maybe took it for granted) that non-fatties DON'T have to go through this ritual in the morning!

I'm totally motivated to lose more weight now so I don't get light-headed when I tie my shoes, and then lose even more weight so my belly doesn't jiggle violently when I brush my teeth....

TMI? If so, my apologies

Here is the rub for me. About a month before Christmas I went out and bought about 4 new pairs of pants. 13 pounds lighter and ALL of them are now getting baggy. The good thing is my pants that were getting tight or impossible to wear are now available again. In addition, I tried on a pair of jeans I have NEVER worn and guess what - they fit with a minor suck in!!! Now I am thinking I may have to buy more pants in a couple months, but this time it will be in the other direction -smaller, not larger!!!

 I definitely understand! I am wearing pants today that 2 months ago would have been cutting off my cirulation by now. Can't wait until my belly stops jiggling so dang much! It's really annoying when I'm on the eliptical! :grumble:

    Keep up the great work!

Love it!!!! I can now reach under my desk and pick something up without having to get out of my seat and down on my knees to do so. That was a big one for me. It truly is the little things that make me happy.

Congrats on your pants fitting well. Keep up the good work.
  • LOL, NO, not too much info...you're just normal like the rest of us. Congratulations!!! It is a definite ego boost, isn't it? A great motivator! I put on a pair of pants that belonged to my daughter (they were too big so she snuck them into my pile) I put them on, and was able to wear them! Size 11! Woo Hoo! Six weeks ago I would have cried over the thought that my own pants were too small for me. So, I may still have the pregnant looking belly, but I feel empowered because of the pants. In time, right? :drinker:

I put on a pair of pants yesterday that i could not have worn at all two months ago. I was glad when I got home and was able to put on sweats, they were quite tight. BUT--I have made progress and retired my first pair last week!! That is a GREAT feeling!! I am so anxious to get to go shopping!

Congrats to you! It is an awesome feeling ins't it? I have taken to purchaseing my clothes at the thrift store. My old work clothes are too big, and I am not ready to buy new so the thrifts will help get me through until I reach my goal weight.

    Happy teeth brushing!
