I have a decent amount of friends on MFP, but only like 2 use KiK.
If you use it and would like to be friends, message me for my username.
It's always nice to have people to chat with during the long work day

I downloaded KiK per the request of one of my friends here. Its alot of fun. It reminds me of back in the day when everyone was on AIM. I think the coolest feature is that you can actually have group messaging if you wanted to.
Quick file transfers and push notifications are all part of its capability.

    VERY cool.

Love it so freakin' much. It's my favorite way to keep in contact with my friends here. And it feels more personal than to be reading the same thing over "you'll do better next time" or "Way to go".

I'm going to guess that this uses data versus text messaging?

If you're going to cheat on your partner, it doesn't matter what app you have. Don't hate on Kik.

Yes, data or wifi vs. text messaging.

If BF is 'boyfriend', how does he know that it works so well...... b7Z14.gif

If BF is 'best friend'.... erm.... how do they know that it works so well.......

    Why wouldn't you have Kik?

Because it would just be one more way for me to be overconnected to EVERYTHING.

Don't you ever just want the phone to stop blinking, beeping, vibrating (okay, that one can come in handy) and stuff? I don't dare turn my phone off though. It would result in sheer anarchy.

Yeah, when I feel like that, I just ignore the phone. Put it face down, turn it on silent and walk away. Pretty easy.

It may be used like that for some .. but I completely disagree ..
for me its a fast way to talk to alot of my friends. I think its a shame that someone would put such a general blanket statement out there like that
