I try to do a green smoothie every day. I travel for a living and even travel with a blender. I use a small amount of fruit juice (1 cup), most often it is Goodbelly so that I also get the probiotics. I also add 2 drops of iodine (for thyroid support) and when I am home, 2 TBSP of liquid vitamins. When I am on the road, I use Goodbelly plus for the vitamins and fruit juice. I like to use spinach because all I taste is the fruit. I have tried using kale, but it has a strong flavor. Some of my favorite combinations:

    1 whole mango
1 whole organic peach (or 1/2 cup fresh pineapple)
1 cup mango Goodbelly (or fruit juice)
1/2 of a 5 oz bag of organic spinach
enough water for consistency (about 1 cup)

In the winter, apples are easiest to find (I buy organic)

    2 apples
    dash of cinnamon
1 cup blueberry Goodbelly (or fruit juice)
1/2 of a 5 oz bag of organic spinach
(I do not usually have to add water to this one)

    1 Cup Green Tea
    1 Cup fresh baby spinach
    1/2 Cup "Matchstick" carrots
    1/2 Cup Cherry Tomato
    1/4 Cup Apple Juice

Put it in a blender until smooth.

    For a twist I've put in a 1/2 avacado....makes it a little thicker

I do 2 cups Kale, 1/2 gala apple, 1/2 cup pineapple, and 1 kiwi peeled, plus water (about 1 cup). Its great...though I think I am going to try it with green tea, as someone suggested, instead of water.

Just got my Nutri Bullet - this one is awesome:

    2 cups baby spinach
1 whole ripe avocado (scooped out of skin)
    1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon of Flax seed meal
1 small handful of chopped walnuts
1 scoop of your fave whey protein powder (I like HerbaLife Formula 1)
    1-2 cups of Almond Milk

a small drop of honey if your avocado and banana are not really ripe enough and a few ice pieces if you want it colder.

This one comes out smooth, green and beautifully delicious from the Nutri Bullet - I sub for breakfast or lunch with it.

Nice recipe, I use yoghurt too but the calories is my problem. I se a 33cl cup and it's not really much, I don't want to reduce it either. How many calories are in a 33cl bottle of plain yoghurt, do u know?

    This morning:
1/2 cup Trader Joe's coconut milk (the drinkable kind, not the kind in the can)

    1/2 cup guava nectar
    1 scoop flavorless protein powder
    1 teaspoon chia seeds
    1 frozen banana
    1 cup frozen mango

I think I originally got this recipe from Dr. Oz. I don't care much for him but his drink is delicious:

    2 cups spinach
    2 cups cucumber
    1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
    1 bunch parsley
    2 apples
    Juice of 1 lime
    Juice of 1/2 lemon

Couple handfuls of spinach or kale (I alternate these weekly)
1/2 orange peeled but keep the white membrane - very healthy
    1/2 banana
1/2 kiwi - I do not peel the skin off - vitamix will pulverize
    1/2 cup of green grapes
    1/4 to 1/2 a pear
    3/4 cup of ice
    1/2 cup of water

Tastes like a fruit drink. Use it for a mid afternoon snack or sometimes a dinner meal.
