I ate so much today and I am still under my 1200. I never eat after six and 1200 just seems like so much. How do you stay on track with the calorie intake? In my daily report, all of them say that its to low and the body will go into starvation mode and actually hinder future weight loss. The thing is, I'm so full! I really tried so hard today and feel like I failed. I really want my BMI to be normal again. I'm 5'7 and 175lbs @ 27 years old

A few things, make sure your measurements are right, after that, you need to make sure you are eating enough of the right fats like olive oil, fish, avacado; that will raise calories while giving your body the fat it needs to lose the bad fat. Just make sure you are not starving yourself because when your body goes into starvation mode, you will not lose the bad fat. Also, try not to focus too much on weight and try to keep your sight set on excellent health.0

5'7" can lose plenty of fat at 1600cals per day without too much LBM loss.
start eating.
About the "No eating after 6pm" this has no effect on fat loss.
so eat up!0 -
Hi,
you could make your diary public to let us see, what you actually ate today. ;-)0 -
I opened my diary! Im new to this and didn't realize that anyone had commented to this posting. The last few days I have been over mainly due to drinks, but i have been doing well getting my calories in. Thanks for the advice. My husband told me that only people that are at their goal weight will go into "starvation mode", and as long as i feel fine and have enough fuel to get through the day than its ok. Cheers0
