Been MIA for over a year... had a baby!

Hello! I have been MIA on MFP for over a year now... I was 5 pounds shy of my goal weight when I found out I was pregnant for the second time... isn't that how it usually works? :grumble: Happened the first time too... made it to my goal and wound up pregnant! Not taking away the blessing that my daughters have been to me but the irony just bites. Anyway! My second daughter is now 8 months old and I have 15 pounds to get to my goal... and if I feel like I can - I'll push harder after I'm there. Motivation is so difficult this time around. This is the 3rd time I've really had to battle to get where I want... I'm losing endurance. Especially with two little ones running around all I want to do is eat carbs and sleep. Anyway - I'm here AGAIN and trying to reconnect with the friends who've moved on and start connections with others. I'm having a great transition into work-outs - the eating part sucks. Hopefully with MFP and some encouragers I can make my goal (and then NOT get pregnant again) this time!:flowerforyou:

I just had my second baby and he is 8 1/2 months old, my daughter is 5. Feel free to add me, I am trying to lose about 15 - 20 more pounds.
  • Hi ladies, I'm looking for mommy friends who are struggling to loose pregnancy weight. I gained 70 lbs during my pregnancy. AND they were 6 weeks early! I can't imagine how huge I would be if i went to full term! yikes! I have lost 50 of the 70 pounds. Struggling with the last 20.

My first daughter was 3 weeks early (our first miracle baby - for many reasons!) and my second daughter who is 8 months old was born 6 weeks early - another miracle! I gained 75 lbs with my first and only 35 with my second... but with two it's been so much harder to eat right. Congrats on your twins!
